Intelligent Life Productions (ILP) is a boutique studio dedicated to developing unique experiences for evolving media platforms. As such, Fast Company will be featuring a profile of the partners in their November 2012 issue.

Last year saw two industry firsts: Meryl Streep guest-starred on Web Therapy, and LStudio’s webisodes were expanded and sold as 30-minute episodes to Showtime. The series, currently airing, has been a ratings success making “Web Therapy” the first branded online series to make the leap to premium cable.
One of the newest series, “Red Band Trailer hosted by Diablo Cody”, (writer, Juno, and upcoming film “Young Adult” with Charlize Theron), just launched as an offbeat interview show with an amazing A-list of “names”, all shot in an Airstream trailer.
Additionally, Diane and Ron worked with Playtone, (Tom Hanks/Gary Goetzman) to produce the celeb-filled “3 Minute Talk Show.” Guests included Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Stephen Moyer, Jon Cryer, Joe Jonas, Robin Williams, Jimmy Fallon, Johnny Knoxville, and more.
Also, they collaborated with OWN on a doc series “The Sessions Project” that focused on creativity starring musical artist will.i.am and iconic photographer Norman Seeff, currently having its online screening on LStudio with a one-hour tv special to follow on OWN:The Oprah Winfrey Network.

Besides working with Lexus, ILP is expanding, with a focus on online concepts with tv/ feature upsell potential. They are also currently attaching brands to three reality tv/ multi-platform series in preparation to shop, and will soon be shopping a scripted sci-fi series.
Ron and Diane believe it is their emphasis on conscious collaboration and creative freedom that has allowed Intelligent Life Productions to work with so many talented actors, writers, brands and organizations. Additionally, developing and nurturing relationships is as important and enjoyable to them as developing successful projects.
Both partners are members of the Producers Guild of America and have been featured speakers at panels which include Digital Hollywood, Palm Springs Int’l Shortfest, Variety Summit and NAB’s Media Business Conference, as well as the “Cracking the Code” panel at the APA/Locke, Lord event this year.
